We are authorized by the Ministry of Infrastructure pursuant to Art. 59 of DPR NO. 380/2001 (formerly Art. 20 of Law 1086/71) for Sector A of Circular No. 7617/2010/STC, including testing of aggregates, plate load tests and pile load tests.

Steel Testing
The safety of every reinforced concrete structure depends on the quality of the reinforcing steel. Substandard reinforcement can compromise structural integrity and lead to costly disputes with clients and project managers.
We carry out all mechanical and dimensional tests required to certify compliance with current regulations, including tensile strength, ductility, bond performance and rib geometry in accordance with the Italian Technical Standards for Construction (NTC).
Our accredited test reports provide the evidence required for structural acceptance, testing and final approval.
Concrete Testing
Concrete is the most widely used construction material, but its in-service performance may differ significantly from its design specifications if not properly tested.
We help prevent costly structural defects through on-site quality control and laboratory analysis of concrete core samples taken from existing structures.
Our investigations assess the condition of existing buildings and verify the effectiveness of repair and rehabilitation works.
Hydraulic Binders and Admixtures Testing
We analyze the physical, chemical and mechanical properties of cement, hydraulic lime and other binders in accordance with European standards.
Our tests include fineness, setting time, compressive strength and chemical composition.
We also evaluate chemical admixtures and mineral additions, such as fillers, to ensure full compatibility with the cementitious mix, helping prevent curing defects, early cracking and quality disputes.
Brick Testing
Testing is not always simple or straightforward. Misurlab performs testing on bricks both in the laboratory and on-site. Our materials testing laboratory is authorized to perform and certify the tests required by the circulars of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Testing on bricks is performed in accordance with current standards and using multiple methodologies. The testing conducted includes dimensional measurements, strength testing, determination of water absorption, frost resistance, eOlorescence tendency, and all mechanical and physical tests capable of determining characteristics and defects.
Mix Design Qualification
Mix design qualification confirms that a concrete mix achieves the required levels of strength, workability and durability specified by the project.
Our laboratory performs trial mixes to optimize material proportions, evaluate locally sourced aggregates and certify compliance with environmental exposure classes.
We also qualify sprayed concrete (shotcrete) mixes for tunnels, retaining structures and structural rehabilitation projects, ensuring reliable long-term performance.
